Completing Qualifications
Normally, partial achievement occurs on a promotion course with further experience and assessment then being needed to show full competence. Army Reserve Candidates are also able to use their civilian work environment to contribute evidence if they choose.
Instructing on Army Courses
The Adult Education and Training certificate could also be achieved earlier by personnel undertaking service with a training establishment as an instructor.
Record of Learning
Every individual has credit achievement recorded on the national Record of Learning (RoL) database. All Army Reserve personnel who meet the eligibility criteria will be RoL 'registered' as they complete a JNCO Promotion Course.
